Bill Werde comments on Angela Cheng Claims!

Here's a snippet.  Read the full article on Little Monster Bill Werde's Tumblr.

Bill Werde says "all of this would be fine and well and water under the bridge, except for two nagging problems. One was that the “work” of “Cheng” and “O’Connor” appeared to me to create a lasting, negative smear on the campaign for Lady Gaga’s current album, ARTPOP."

Someone should inform Mr. Werde that ARTPOP under performed on it's own.  The music spoke (or didn't speak) for itself. Lady Gaga's pretentious attitude; alienation of the general public by being a holier than thou snooty high art type; and constant eye rolling claims suggesting she's the first person to accomplish things in pop culture that have already been done 30 or more years ago, are enough to solidify her demise. Let's not forget ripping people off through her foundation, which is really more of a tax break than anything else. Being the most annoying celebrity in existence can't be a good thing for your career and public image.

ARTPOP and Gaga doesn't need covert journalists and bloggers to turn the public off. She did that all on her own. I suppose Cheng and O'Connor are also to blame for the Born This Way Foundation's obscene spending of donation money on pretty much nothing?

Writing a post discrediting claims that he's on Gaga's payroll is useless.  Was he ever going to admit it if he were? That would be illegal.  It seems to me that Bill Werde is a die-hard Lady Gaga fan. He is a fan and therefore fails to see how Stefani contributed to her own career falling off the pedestal and into the pit of irrelevancy.  It's the media and blogger's fault even if they reported factual information like the charity foundation's irresponsible spending with very little of it actually doing anything to help it's cause?

Keep in mind too that Lady Gaga loves attention. She lives for the applause after all.  Any attention, even negative, is satisfactory for her because it keeps her name in the news.  In fact, she should probably put all the "hate" bloggers on her payroll.  At least we keep her name alive.  Mainstream media is barely singing her praises anymore either.

Remember one thing folks, whatever happens, it's never Lady Gaga's fault. It's your fault, the media's fault, her management's fault, the animals she kills and wears fault, the blogger's fault, former friend's fault, ex-boyfriend's fault, old high school peers' fault and everyone else breathing on this massive planet's fault. But it's not her fault.

Thanks Nuvo for the link.  Now check out BuzzFeed's article on Angela Cheng and Sabrina O'Connor! Oh the impact those two have!  Hey, what about Paws Down and I? Are we chopped liver or something? I kid, I kid.  My guess is our claims have more merit and constructive criticism instead of outrageous claims.  So we aren't sensational enough.

Thank you Amen Madonna for the Buzz Feed link.

Guys, what do you think?

Lady Gaga - G.U.Y.: THIS SONG SUCKS

Review by Luke Giordano.  The song really does suck.  I posted Luke's review for Applause when it came out but it's so spot on, it deserves to be posted again.

Akon Throws Major Shade at Lady Gaga. He Cashed Out!

I know Lady Gaga feels like a victim so badly betrayed by the music industry, or she wants you to believe she is. But, let's get real shall we? The music business is a business and businesses are there to earn money. The entertainment industry is no exception.  Of course, in order to earn money, they have to find the right people to mold and shape into a fast selling package.  Gaga was (maybe still is) a commodity, like most pop stars are.  Pop stars have a shelf life, like milk.  The glory days of pop are over.  There will never be another Madonna or Michael Jackson ever again.  Very few have managed to harness the longevity needed to survive in such a fickle career with an even more fickle public.

Akon's relationship with Lady Gaga in the early stages of her career is no secret and he was crucial in helping her rise to the top for that short period.  But like all good businessmen, they know when to walk away.  Listen to Akon's interview with Sway in the Morning. When asked about Lady Gaga, he says "Actually I cashed out. I got out while the gooding (sic) was hot. It's like a business, you build it to sell it. When I got it to the peak of where I felt it couldn't go nowhere, and there was nowhere left to go but down, I cashed out, in other words I sold my share and got out before it was too late." When asked if he's surprised at the critics saying Gaga's fallen of the pedestal and the sales of Gaga's last album, Akon responds "No. That's why I got out". Ouch!

Skip to 3:43 and listen up to 5:47.

Make no mistake.  Gaga isn't this broken bird who was kept from flying because of these horrible executives.  I don't doubt that there are horrible people in the music business.  I'm sure there's a lot of shrewd and ruthless suits for artists to deal with.  But they are not responsible for Gaga's waning star. She is; and she's said many times how she's in control of her career.  It's convenient and it's human nature to pass the buck to others when it's too hard to swallow that pill of accountability. The truth is Gaga used them as much as they used her.  The fact that she had to go to court to seal scandalous documents permanently that would ruin her reputation testifies to that.

Thank you Pizzazz for the story.

Lady Gaga G.U.Y. video applies same, old, tired pop formula.

Lady Gaga's video for G.U.Y. came out yesterday and it's evident in the video that she's desperately trying to promote her entire album ARTPOP and not just the song the video is meant for.  The almost 12 minute video, which four minutes of it is just credits (implying this is some sort of masterpiece film) paints Gaga to be the (surprise!) perpetual victim who suffered at the hands of her handlers who trying to stifle her creative, and artistic vision, which involves vomiting

The video opens with Gaga's single ARTPOP and visually we see a group of men in suits fighting over money.  The men obviously represent music industry executives that only cared about Stefani for the money and not Stefani the artist.  As the crowd moves away, we see Gaga lying on the ground, beat up and abused. Gaga is wearing bird wings to signify the phoenix that will rise from the ashes.  I guess Gaga didn't get the memo that ARTPOP is done and the window for "rising" has long closed.  That of course had nothing to do with Troy Carter and the rest of her management team because Gaga has always made a strong point to let it be known that she is in charge of her career.  Unless it begins to fail.  In that case, it's no longer her fault.

When Gaga arrives at Hearst Castle, broken and battered, the song changes to Venus, in an attempt to promote yet another song. Gaga is carried to the pool, adorned with flowers, lifted up and placed in the pool for a spiritual cleansing.  Then in a weird, tacky twist, we see the Housewives of Beverly Hills lip synching to Venus and playing in a mock band.  Their significance in the video is lost among the mega promotion and point of the video itself, if there actually is one that doesn't have to do with Gaga.  Then again, nothing Gaga does is about anything else other than her.  Even her do-good attempts at charity is basically one giant stroke of the ego as she places herself in a Messiah-like status.  Thankfully, her foundation was proven to be a scam and anyone with a brain can see that.

G.U.Y. begins with Gaga playing tribute to sex and it's God Himeros.  Like a bad self-made, low budget music video, a floating Hemiros head appears in the blue sky, looking down upon the pretentious, washed up pop star, smiling.  The scene is stupid and has z-movie status written all over it.  It doesn't deserve much more attention than that.

Cue the predictable dance sequence.  There's several of them, which include back up dancers. Notably, the real dancing isn't done by Gaga.

The rest of the video is just your typical pop, dance, Hollywood stuff.  Costumes, dancing, dead animals as clothing, sex, masturbation; because it wouldn't be a pop video without touching your crotch.  How artistic.   Gaga looks pretty good and credit for that goes to the cosmetic surgery and Botox she's gotten, which is evident in this video.

Gaga's two-foot stomping about being a real artist is negated by travelling down the beaten pop-star path by including the usual pop music video recipe; sex, nakedness, ensemble dancing, flashy lights and pouty faces.  Gaga can scream "I am an artist" until she chokes because it's clear as the bluest, ocean water that underneath all that noise, Gaga is nothing more than just another pop star applying the same, old, tired formula.  Staying in line with her empathy for child molesters and sexual deviants, Michael Jackson makes an appearance in the video as well. Speaking of Michael Jackson, the scene where he, Ghandi and Jesus exit their tombs is a direct reflection about how Gaga thinks of herself.  A victim, beaten, crucified and humiliated for her art.  Gaga thinks she is a martyr for pop.  The delusions of grandeur are hysterical and sad.

The video ends with a panoramic, exterior shot of Hearst Castle, the stunning California mountains and ocean. This is the best part of the video.

The song G.U.Y. itself isn't bad.  The best part is the chorus.  I predict, like the rest of ARTPOP, the song will fail to reach the top of the charts despite the expensive, long and colourful video and pathetic fan attempts.  But then again, Gaga doesn't care about the charts and that's obvious by placing two unrelated songs in the video and tweeting this.

Oh PUKE! Lady Gaga, Desperate for Attention, Triggers Gag Reflex at SXSW

Last night Lady Gaga performed at sell-out music festival SXSW and the desperation for a waning career reached pathetic heights of grossness.  In a lame and failed attempt to divert attention from the Born This Way Foundation spending scandal and Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga tapped so called "vomit" artist Millie Brown to perform with her on stage.  The fact that someone calls themselves a vomit artist is disturbing in and of itself but that's a discussion for another day.

During the single from ARTPOP, Swine, Gaga did her best reductive version of a GG Allin show and had Millie Brown drink a green coloured, milky liquid on stage.  Once the tasty beverage was finished, Brown stuck her fingers down her throat and proceeded to vomit the green liquid all over Stefani. Once Brown emptied her digestive system of green fluid, she puked black shit all over Gaga as they both played in it like bridge-trolls on a mechanical bull.  I feel like vomiting as I write this. Revolting.  Checkmate for glamorizing bulimia too!  Good job Gaga.  How's that youth empowerment going? #PopStarsDontEat

You know you're on your way out when you resort to putrid garbage like this.  Anything to get attention huh Gaga?  While art is a form of human expression, it should have it's boundaries as well. You can't create or perform whatever junk you want, slap an art label on it and expect to be considered some kind of artistic genius.  In Gaga and Millie's case, they are nothing more than clowns from a travelling circus sideshow act.

Gaga really wanted to be a bad-ass rock-n-roll chick for this show. What you ended up seeing was watered down drunk, 1990's Courtney Love mixed with GG Allin, who whined when she had to sing her pop single "Applause". I guess the pain of being reminded of how badly it flopped was too much to bear.

Just how Gaga's SXSW was known for anything but the forgettable music from ARTPOP, GG Allin was known more for his stage antics than his music. He was known for vomiting on stage, beating up his fans (male or female), consuming his feces and self mutilation.  He even had his fans eat his feces. Gaga read a page from the GG Allin play-book and applied it to her show last night. Referring to a comment I read on dListed, GG Allin once said that he planned to commit suicide on stage.  That didn't happen.  He ended up overdosing on drugs.

Gaga, your move.

She's still trying to sell this ARTPOP concept huh?  Yeah, I don't think her attempts to create a new genre or movement is working, at all.  This turkey is fully cooked.
